Farm To Bottle Festival 2024

Farm To Bottle Festival 2024

09/20–09/22/2024 · Wilmington, Ohio

We made the drive out to Farm To Bottle Festival 2024 at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Wilmington, Ohio, and it ended up being the most fun we’d had all year. It didn’t feel like a quick in-and-out event — it felt like a real festival, with people settling in, seeing friends all weekend, and treating the whole thing like a shared hangout.

A big part of that was the camping element. Being able to walk from the event area back to camp and run into the same folks again and again kept the weekend feeling connected, not fragmented. We only got about two hours on Friday night after arriving late, but even with limited time, the vibe came through immediately.

Strong turnout at the fairgrounds — it stayed busy, but never felt rushed.

Inside, the weekend had a good rhythm. Moonshiners had tables set up in the main building, and vendors were set up in a second building, so you could move between the two without everything blending into one room. It made it easy to slow down, actually talk to people, and not feel like you were missing something if you stepped away for a bit.

Indoor tables stayed steady all weekend, with plenty of time for real conversations at the booths.

We spent time catching up with familiar faces and meeting new people we’d only known online. That’s the part we always come back for — not just what’s on the table, but the people behind it, and the chance to actually talk shop without being hurried along.

The distiller booths stayed active, but it never felt like you had to “rush the conversation.” Folks were talking through lineups, answering questions, and letting the weekend unfold naturally. Northern Yankee Moonshine was another stop where it was easy to hang out for a minute and actually connect.

Music was a big part of the weekend too, and it’s hard to overstate what that adds when people are camping and staying on-site. Moonshine Bandits brought the energy, and the whole place had that “festival weekend” feel where the show is just one part of the bigger hang.

Live music and vendor booths kept the pace up while still leaving room to wander and hang out.

We also loved seeing the community side of it — media folks, creators, and photographers documenting the weekend alongside everyone else. Still Talk’n was set up and talking with people, and you could tell this is the kind of event that builds its own momentum year to year.

By the time we wrapped up and hit the road, we both felt the same way: this one was worth the drive. Dan, Jason, and the rest of the crew put together something special, and it’s the kind of festival that makes you want to plan more time for next year instead of trying to squeeze it into a short trip.

Important Note:

Unfortunately, we lost our other camera card with pictures of the outdoor portion of the festival - There were food trucks/vendors, live music on a good-sized stage, a covered pavilion for getting some shade, and the camping area was always busy!
